CDL Trash Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a professional CDL Route Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to deliver trash along designated routes. This role requires excellent driving skills, strong attention to safety, and the ability to load and unload trash efficiently. The CDL Route Driver plays a vital part in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high customer satisfaction through reliable service. Duties Safely operate various types of trucks including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, walking floot trailers and roll-off trucks. Drive assigned routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload trash using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or issues encountered during deliveries. Ensure cargo is secured properly during transit to prevent damage or accidents. Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including loading and unloading trash. Requirements Valid CDL license. Manual and automatic transmission encouraged to apply. Experience in truck driving, route driving, or delivery driver roles preferred. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Ability to drive various types of trucks including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tanker trucks, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Experience with freight handling, load & unload procedures, and forklift operation is advantageous. Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards for commercial driving. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and reliability. Ability to work independently on assigned routes while maintaining punctuality and professionalism. Physical ability to load/unload cargo and perform vehicle inspections as required.
