Bicycle Mechanic

Bicycle Ranch Tucson, a locally owned and operated shop is looking for a skilled Service tech to assemble, maintain and repair as well as sell Bicycles and related equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of bicycles and all related systems. Assisting in supply and parts ordering, repair schedules An ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and great attention to detail. They must be able to work with various bicycles, including but not limited to; kids, Bmx, hybrid, road, mountain gravel, electronic shifting, e-bikes and recumbents. Knowledge of additional items such as tires, clothing, nutrition and all things cycling a plus.Responsibilities• Build and assemble bicycles and components according to requirements• Inspect bicycles, components etc. and test to discover functionality issues• Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability• Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner• Perform thorough maintenance on bicycles, equipment and systems• Replenish fluids and components of brake systems, tubeless tires. • Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to consumers• Undertake other duties as assigned (e.g., sales, supply ordering etc.)Skills• Proven experience as bicycle Mechanic• Excellent knowledge of bicycles, hydraulic, electrical and other systems and their components• A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines• Very good communication skills and sales ability• A problem-solving ability• Very good physical strength and staminaCompetitive compensation, 401K options.
