Optician – Join Our Modern Eye Care Team! We are looking for an enthusiastic, patient-focused Optician to join our growing specialty eye care practice. What You'll Do As an Optician, you will play an essential role in guiding patients through the eyewear selection process and ensuring exceptional outcomes. Responsibilities include: Assisting patients in selecting frames and lenses that meet both visual and lifestyle needs Educating patients on lens technologies, coatings, and customization options Taking precise measurements (PD, seg height, OC height, etc.) to ensure optimal visual performance Adjusting, troubleshooting, and repairing eyewear Processing eyewear and contact lens orders Coordinating with laboratories to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment Assisting with insurance benefits and billing (VSP, EyeMed, Spectera, Superior) Maintaining an organized and attractive optical showroom Helping create a welcoming and professional patient experience What We're Looking For Minimum 1 year optical sales experience required Strong frame styling and lens recommendation skills Familiarity with optical insurance plans (VSP, EyeMed, etc.) Experience with optical practice management software (Crystal PM a plus) Excellent communication and patient service skills Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements A positive, team-oriented attitude Schedule Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday / Friday Compensation & Benefits Starting at $21/hour, with higher pay based on experience.
