About the Role As a Fit Development Lead, you will: Drive Seasonal Style and Fit Development based on Design's direction, leveraging fit intelligence and competitive research.Apply expertise in fabric, construction, and design aesthetics to create and refine fit blocks that meet LS&Co.'s product standards.Collaborate with Fit and Garment Developers to ensure seasonal products align with approved fit blocks and meet commercial sampling and production requirements.Conduct competitive product fit reviews, establish body target measurements, evaluate fit block sampling, and integrate consumer feedback into approvals.Partner with Design to translate aesthetic requirements into commercially viable styling details.Lead and document fittings, communicating fit block comments to production teams.Integrate timelines with stakeholders to meet all Go-to-Market milestones.Act as a liaison between Design, Product Development, and source bases to ensure quality execution and problem-solving in bulk production.Stay current on contractor technical and equipment capabilities. About YouBachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education, pattern-making training, and work experience). A Design school degree is a plus.Minimum 5 years' experience in fit execution aligned with design concepts.Skilled in manual and computer-aided patternmaking and grading.Strong abilities in drawing, flat sketching, and Illustrator.Proficiency in Illustrator, Gerber Accumark Fit Development, Word, Excel, PLM, and 3D Fit Development programs (preferred).Experience in Women's Fit Development for denim and non-denim woven bottoms (jeans, shorts, skirts, overalls), trucker jackets, and ideally dresses and tops.Ability to interpret designers' fit direction and guide contractor pattern corrections.Experienced in preparing and conducting fit meetings, updating patterns, and managing specifications in required systems.Proven ability to build strong partnerships with overseas technical teams, troubleshoot fit issues, and drive resolution.Solid understanding of product development calendars.
