DescriptionHomeSearch JobsJob Description Network Engineer Contract: seattle, Washington, US Salary Range: 40.00 - 45.00 | Per Hour Job Code: 369673 End Date: 2026-06-26 Days Left: 3 days, 4 hours left Apply Job Description: Position Title: Network Engineer Duration: 12 months Type: Onsite Location: Seattle, WA PayRate: $40/hr-$45/hr Day-to-Day Responsibilities Execution: Following defined run books to deploy different categories of network racks.Deployment Lifecycle: Fetching attributes (IPs, DNS hostnames) from internal databases and pushing configurations to new devices.Ground Support: Working with data center technicians to troubleshoot physical layer issues (e.g., cabling) during turn-up.Maintenance: Making small code augmentations or scripts to account for design changes (e.g., transitioning from 400G to 800G designs). Must Have Skills Level: L5 (Mid-level, roughly 3-5 years of experience).Technical Core: Strong understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and networking fundamentals.Automation: Basic Python proficiency for editing existing code and writing simple scripts (not platform-level development).Tools: Linux proficiency for troubleshooting.Certifications: CCNP or JNCIP preferred as a baseline, but not mandatory if the candidate has equivalent high-scale experience.
