This is an on-site position at our Hudson, Massachusetts facility. The successful candidate will contribute across the full product lifecycle, from conception through implementation by applying sound engineering judgement. You will work collaboratively with our junior Design and Development Engineering team at our Hudson facility. Strong communication skills are essential to driving successful outcomes.COMPANY OVERVIEW:Who We Are: CPI Radant is the radome-and-compositestructures division of Communications & Power Industries LLC (CPI). They are formally known as CPI Radant Technologies Division, and they serve the aerospace, defense, naval, and commercial industries by designing, manufacturing, testing and supporting advanced composite radomes, reflectors and structural composite products.What We Do: Radomes are special "domes" made of composite materials that protect antennas and radar systems from the environment while allowing electromagnetic signals to pass. CPI Radant produces these for critical applications, meaning:They enable secure communications and radar/electronic-warfare capabilities for military and commercial aerospace platforms.Their manufacturing includes large apertures and highfrequency performance.Their advances in composite manufacturing and large structures feed into modern aircraft, satellites, naval vessels, etc.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Involvement in top level projects as lead EngineerDesign/model tooling to support operationsWork with Program Managers/ Business Development team on quoting jobsSupport Junior Engineering staffSupport scheduling for projectsQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and or Aeronautical EngineeringSolid understanding of Mechanical Engineering concepts, principles, and theoriesComposites experience a plusProficiency with CAD tools such as PTC CREO and Solidworks. CATIA a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisionsDemonstrated creativity and attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in MS Office and standard engineering software tools.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environmentSalary: $120000 - $130000.Role requires a U.S. Person status under ITAR.10+ years experience minimun in an Engineering companyThis position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a U.S. Person as defined under ITAR and EAR.
