This entry-level role combines plant care with active sales support. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about plants, eager to learn, and ready to help customers find the perfect products while contributing to the store’s sales goals. Key Responsibilities Assist customers with plant selection, care advice, and related products Recommend complementary items (pots, soil, fertilizers, tools) to increase basket size Water, prune, and maintain healthy, attractive plants and displays Help unload and stock new inventory efficiently Support seasonal sales campaigns and promotions Operate the POS system and handle transactions at checkout when needed Learn product knowledge to confidently upsell and provide expert advice Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills Willingness to learn sales techniques and product knowledge Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors Flexible schedule, including weekends and peak seasons Ideal Candidate Friendly, enthusiastic, and motivated to learn.
