The Grand Life is calling-come spend the season with us!As a Seasonal Pool Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service in a vibrant, outdoor poolside setting. This role focuses on creating a fun, welcoming, and attentive experience for guests while maintaining the highest standards of service, cleanliness, and safety. From taking orders and serving refreshing beverages to ensuring poolside areas are clean and well-stocked, you'll help make every guest's day at the pool memorable.Key Responsibilities:Guest Service: Provide friendly, attentive, and personalized service to guests in the pool area, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable experience.Menu Knowledge: Stay informed on all food and beverage offerings by attending menu briefings and confidently answering guest questions and making recommendations.Order Management: Accurately take, confirm, and enter guest orders, ensuring timely delivery from the kitchen and bar.Poolside Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain clean tables, chairs, and service areas while ensuring stations are properly stocked and organized.Service Flow: Monitor guest needs throughout their visit, discreetly clear used items, reset areas promptly, and respond to additional requests.Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen, bar, and support teams to ensure smooth service during peak seasonal hours.Cash Handling & Compliance: Process guest payments accurately, follow cash handling procedures, report gratuities appropriately, and comply with all ABC Board requirements related to alcohol service.Side Work & Support Duties: Complete assigned side work including restocking supplies, polishing service items, and assisting team members as needed.Education & Experience:* Previous food and beverage or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.* Strong communication skills and a positive, guest-focused attitude.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.Frequently lift up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.Perks & Benefits:As a seasonal associate of the Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa and PCH Hotels & Resorts, you'll enjoy a variety of perks, including:Hotel, food & beverage, golf, and retail discounts.Worldwide Marriott travel discounts.A fun, fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.And more!Join the seasonal poolside team at the Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa, where we deliver hospitality with heart & soul and create unforgettable moments for our guests all summer long.
