Summary: Responsible for counting all inventoried items and locations. Research and troubleshoot and resolve any inventory discrepancies. Audit distribution center processes to assure effectiveness and accuracy of the process/system in place. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. Perform regularly scheduled cycle counts by location, product number and description. Count, verify and sort inventory. Perform random audits on both reserve and active locations. Monitor inventory on a daily basis and perform scheduled audits to assure accuracy. Troubleshoot daily inventory control issues and reconcile any inventory variances. Monitor and research issues resulting from "Unselected" orders Make inventory adjustments, transfers and transactions as needed and log, file, maintain all documents pertaining to inventory modifications Perform audits on processes within Outbound, Inbound/Returns, Production, Inventory Control and Support Services to ensure standard operating procedure is followed resulting in accurate and efficient work. Document and report findings to include any discovered gaps or errors. Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly appearance in the work area. Alert management of potential safety problems or violations. Work overtime as business dictates. Stand for full shift and lift up to 60 pounds and bend, twist, grab, squat, push, pull, stand, walk or perform any other physical movements required to complete daily tasks. Operate MHE as required to fulfill department tasks. Flex schedule and work overtime as business dictates. Qualification Requirements: Self Starter and ability to work independently Working knowledge base of warehouse layout and warehouse processes Basic knowledge of RF Technology Current Material Handling Equipment certification preferred Computer knowledge to include ability to navigate Microsoft Windows (internet, outlook, excel and word) and GQ with Ability to key in data, type and operate a computer keyboard. Strong attention to detail Ability to communicate and relate effectively within and across departmental lines Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to read and interpret and execute standard operating procedures Performance history of quality conscious work, good attendance and safe work habits Must be responsible, enthusiastic, trustworthy, and able to work with minimum supervision. Ability to work overtime or varied hours per business requirements Ability to read and write in English Strong mathematical and analytical skills Self-motivated and ability to take initiative Ability to multitask Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse with cold temperatures in the winter months and hot temperatures in the summer months; stand and walk for entire shift; lift and carry up to 60 pounds; and bend, twist, grab, squat, squat, push, pull, stand, walk or perform any other physical movements required to complete daily tasks Education/Training: High School Diploma/GED Eligibility: To be considered for this position, the following criteria should be met. Completed 1 year in your current position (exceptions to this may be considered with HR and supervisory approval). Have current satisfactory performance rating and attendance record. Employees with recent corrective actions may be declined the opportunity to post by their existing dept. manager.
