Warehouse Supervisor

With operations across commercial, regional, business, defense, and space segments, we are committed to excellence and sustainability.Position SummaryThe Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily operations within the warehouse, ensuring efficient material handling, storage, inventory control, and distribution of wire harness components, tooling, and finished aerospace products. This role is responsible for supervising warehouse staff, maintaining compliance with aerospace industry standards, and supporting production through accurate and timely material flow.Key Responsibilities / DutiesWarehouse Operations & Inventory ControlSupervise and perform receiving, storage, material exit, picking, staging, and shipping finished products.Ensure traceability of materials through proper labeling, barcode scanning, and system updates (ERP/MRP).Monitor inventory accuracy with cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.Oversee handling of sensitive aerospace components to prevent Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and maintain ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) compliance.Ensure correct segregation of conforming, non-conforming, and quarantined materials.Compliance & QualityEnforce compliance with aerospace industry standards (AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA, EASA, etc.).Maintain proper documentation and records for audits, inspections, and certifications.Support quality assurance by coordinating with inspectors for material validation.Implement and sustain warehouse 5S, lean manufacturing, and safety practices.Team Leadership & TrainingSupervise and assign daily tasks to warehouse associates.Train team members in aerospace material handling, ERP transactions, and safety protocols.Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback/coaching.Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Logistics & Production SupportCoordinate with purchasing, planning, and production to ensure timely material availability for harness manufacturing.Oversee shipping activities to meet on-time delivery and export/import compliance requirements.Manage movement of crimping tools, calibration equipment, and special aerospace parts to and from production.Support packaging and preservation of aerospace products to meet customer specifications.Safety & Facility ManagementEnforce CAL-OSHA and company safety standards, including safe use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and lifting equipment.Conduct safety inspections and report hazards.Manage proper storage of chemicals, adhesives, and other aerospace materials with special handling requirements.Qualifications / RequirementsEducationHigh school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.Experience3–5+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in aerospace or wire harness manufacturing.2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.Knowledge/SkillsFamiliarity with aerospace industry standards (AS9100, ITAR, FOD prevention).Experience with ERP/MRP systems and barcode/RFID inventory tracking.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to read and interpret work orders, engineering drawings, and material specifications.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Excel Macros, Word, Outlook).Certifications (Preferred)Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement training.OSHA safety certification.Core CompetenciesLeadership & team management.Detail orientation and accuracy.Strong communication skills.Adaptability in a fast-paced aerospace production environment.Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance.Job Type: Full-timePay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hourExpected hours: No less than 40 per weekBenefits401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offExperienceAerospace Manufacturing : 2 years (Preferred)Leadership: 2 years
