Registered Nurse - Psychiatric Services

This RN role involves providing comprehensive, patient-centered behavioral health care across various populations, including adolescent, adult, geriatric, mood disorders, and transitional youth.Under supervision, the nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized care, supervises non-RN staff, and may serve as a charge nurse, ensuring continuity and quality of care.The responsibilities include ongoing assessment, developing and communicating care plans, patient education, and collaboration with the healthcare team.Specialized skills include neuro assessments, airway management, tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and neuro procedures.Qualifications require a graduate of an accredited nursing school, a valid Connecticut RN license, BLS certification, proficiency in electronic health records, and preferred BSN.Open roles are available in multiple shifts and units.
