Job description Job Title: Regional Truck Driver Class A Tolleson, AZ Reports to: Operations Manager Work: Home every other day & weekends Classification: This is a dedicated truck driver position operating a tractor trailer over 26,001 pounds for the purpose of running between Arizona, California and Nevada. Driver must possess at least two (2) years of a valid CDL Class A Arizona License and be 25 years or older to apply. The driver must have full knowledge of both State and DOT regulations and fully understands truck operations. This candidate will be home every other night and on the weekends for his/her reset. JOB SUMMARY: The driver must have a “clean” driving record (provide current DMV history with no DUI or at fault accidents within the last 5 yrs. Must possess a valid non-expired interstate Medical Examiner’s Certificate Card (MEC) and able to pass company orientation. Must be able to pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check), able to use ELD (electronic logs) and provide vehicle pre and post trip on every event. Must be able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations. Average hours per week are anywhere between 50 to 70 hours and home other every night and weekends.
