Solution Analyst

Required Education and Experience: • Oil & Gas Industry familiarity • Strong understanding of hydrocarbon production accounting • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems • 3-10 years of information systems expertise, including: • Expertise with P2/Merrick Suite including ProCount, Carte, eVin, PetroRegs, and auxiliary modules • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy • Gather and document business requirements, querying, report writing, and presenting data • Working knowledge of relational databases—Oracle, SQL Server • Working knowledge of query/reporting tools—SSIS/SSRS, TOAD, Crystal Reports/Business Objects, SpotFire • Working knowledge of Microsoft products: Word/Excel/Access/Visio • Experience with QC/QA software testing procedures • Domestic travel will be required at less than 25% Job Type: Contract Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour Schedule: * 8 hour shift Ability to commute/relocate: * Houston, TX 77002: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: * Solution Analyst: 9 years (Required) * P2 Merrick: 8 years (Required) * SQL Server: 8 years (Required) Work Location: In person
