The company’s headquarters is located in Melrose, Florida.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a Safety Manager to oversee and implement workplace safety programs at our various project locations with headquarters being in Melrose, FL. This is a full-time position requiring a hands-on approach to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. Key responsibilities include conducting safety audits, delivering safety training, investigating workplace accidents, and coordinating health and safety initiatives aimed at creating a safe work environment. The Safety Manager will work closely with teams across departments to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.QualificationsExpertise in Occupational Health and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) practicesProven experience in Safety Training and conducting Accident InvestigationsStrong understanding of Industrial Safety standards and compliance requirementsExcellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skillsBachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field preferredCertifications such as OSHA Compliance, CSP (Certified Safety Professional), or equivalent are advantageousAbility to analyze data and produce actionable safety protocolsPrior experience in the detention or construction industry is a plus
