Senior Production Tech 1st Shift

Job Description Position Summary We are searching for a Senior Production Technician to support our client's daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role provides hands-on leadership, ensures operational performance across key metrics, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. You will serve as a key contributor on the production floor supporting pre-assembly operations through ability in process execution, quality assurance, documentation, and teamwork. Key ResponsibilitiesLead, train, and support production team members to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals.Oversee daily fabrication and assembly activities to ensure compliance with specifications.Utilize ERP/MRP systems (Epicor preferred) for scheduling, material planning, and production tracking.Monitor KPIs and address performance gaps with corrective actions.Support standard work, root cause analysis, and process improvements.Coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain equipment readiness.Promote a safe, organized, and high-performance work environment.Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safelyQualifications & SkillsHigh school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environmentAbility to read instructions, safely operate equipment, and visually inspect components and subassembliesStrong attention to detail with accuracy and timeliness in completing work assignmentsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on an intermittent basisAbility to read, write, and comprehend plant directives in EnglishAbility to effectively use a tape measure and perform basic mathBasic understanding of blueprints, mechanical assembly, and electrical assemblyComfortable with frequent standing, bending, lifting, and reachingEmployment Type & CompensationThis is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire positionPay rate is $23.00 - $27.00 per hour, based on experienceApplication Window: Open until filledWork Schedule1st Shift | Monday – Thursday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PMBenefitsPaid HolidaysMedical, Dental, Vision insuranceBereavement LeaveRetirement, 401(k)Personal AdvancementEmployer Information This position is being recruited by NCW on behalf of a client company.
