This role is essential to our daily operations. You will prepare nutritious meals and snacks that support children's growth, energy, and overall well-being. What You'll Do Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for infants through school-age children Follow the approved menu and portion guidelines Maintain strong awareness of allergies and dietary restrictions, ensuring safe substitutions Ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times Follow all state licensing and health department regulations Assist with food ordering, inventory, and supply management Minimize waste while ensuring adequate food quantities Communicate clearly with leadership regarding kitchen needs and updates What We're Looking For Reliable, consistent, and detail-oriented Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks on a schedule Comfortable working independently while staying connected to the team Positive, steady presence in a fast-paced environment Prior experience in quantity cooking or food service preferred Requirements Must meet all state childcare and food service regulations Ability to pass background checks Ability to lift up to 35 lbs as needed Dependable attendance and punctuality What Makes This Role Different Consistent schedule A supportive, team-centered environment The opportunity to contribute to children's health and daily experience in a meaningful way A workplace that values structure, care, and connection Full-time position.
