ABOUT THE ROLEOn-Site (Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)Full-Time6–12 Month Contract (with potential for extension or conversion)Location: Columbus, OHOur client is seeking a high-energy Corporate Recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. This role is heavily focused on proactive sourcing and outreach—ideal for someone who enjoys picking up the phone, building relationships, and driving hiring forward through direct engagement rather than relying solely on inbound applicants.This is an execution-focused recruiting role supporting a variety of positions across skilled trades, engineering, and corporate functions.ABOUT OUR CLIENTOur client is a well-established organization in the construction and skilled trades industry, supporting large-scale residential and commercial projects across multiple markets. This role supports a critical hiring function within a fast-moving and team-oriented environment.DAILY RESPONSIBILITIESProactively source and engage candidates through outbound calls, networking, and creative recruiting strategiesManage full-cycle recruiting across skilled trades, engineering, and corporate rolesBuild and maintain talent pipelines for ongoing and future hiring needsPartner with hiring managers to understand hiring priorities and deliver candidates quicklyConduct initial screenings and coordinate interview processesMaintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring lifecycleTrack recruiting activity and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking systemStay informed on market trends and competitive hiring practicesREQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONSRequired Skills:2–4 years of recruiting experience (agency or corporate)Proven ability to proactively source candidates (not just post-and-pray recruiting)Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls and building relationshipsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple roles simultaneouslyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentBonus Skills:Experience recruiting for skilled trades, construction, or engineering rolesExperience working in a high-volume or time-sensitive hiring environmentABOUT USPortfolio Creative is an award-winning specialized staffing and recruiting company providing talent in the digital, marketing, and creative industries.
