We have excellent opportunities within Anchor Ingredients for people that have an entrepreneurial spirit, focus on problem solving, work independently or in team setting and bring a strong analytical skillset.Purpose Of PositionResponsible for receiving, loading and milling product to meet Anchor Ingredients high quality standards, while ensuring the day-to-day production needs are met with minimal down time and maximum efficiency.ResponsibilitiesScaling TrucksAll inbound loads (dumping or parking on Dolly Pad - DP) Probe, test and scale all loads parked on Dolly Pad - DPRetain product samples on all loads – Properly mark retain sample bagSweep scale by unloading pit after each loadEnter test results in BCFoods All outbound loads (live or preloaded) Scale, ensure correct product, quantity and destinationObtain sample, micro test and run on NIR, ensure COA and/or barcode if needed per customer requirementsScale out and get all paperwork completed and posted in a timely mannerProductionCheck incoming belt throughout the day Make sure flow is sufficient to maximize cimbria needsEnsure product is not spilling by hole or running over belt into the leg pitBlow out screens on destoner every 2 hoursCheck hullers amperage and visual product quality every 2 hoursIf product is accumulating on the floor or elsewhere troubleshoot to figure out whyMonitor baghouse reading throughout the dayMonitor hulls bin volume throughout the dayWalk around both dirty and clean bins to see if there are any problems developingCheck cimbria, destoner, hullers, roller mill and all other parts of production at least once per shiftOther Duties: mow lawn, shovel snow, move trailers, change screens and set up grinder, extra clean up and any other tasks that need to be completed around the facility as assigned HousekeepingClean up any mess before going home for the day ensuring no personal belongings or garbage is left at workstations or other shared common areasSweep around the pit between loads and the entire scale once per shiftPut tools back in their places after each useDisconnect air hoses when they are not in useTake trash to dumpster with it is full Other Duties: mow lawn, shovel snow, move trailers, extra clean up and any other tasks that need to be completed around the facility as assigned GeneralTrouble shoot and communicate breakdowns to our Maintenance team and SupervisorRepair minor issues, etc. replace drive belts & patch holes where and when ableUtilize all members of the team to accomplish tasks, holding yourself and others accountable for duties performed. Ask for help when needed. Prioritize employee and food safety first, facility production second and dumping and loading trucks as the third priority.
