Job Summary The Pizzeria On Pine is a new pizzeria is seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in preparing and serving high-quality pizzas. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety practices, pizza and slice assembly, knowledge and understanding of operating a gas pizza oven, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and standards Prepare the pizza display case for slice sales Take customer orders for slices and reheat them according to company standards Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area Handle food products safely and efficiently, adhering to proper food handling procedures Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that all orders are accurate and presented beautifully Qualifications Must have experience as a pizza maker Strong culinary experience with a focus on pizza preparation and cooking techniques Knowledge of fine dining standards and catering practices is a plus Proficient knife skills and experience with meal preparation are essential Familiarity with food service operations, including kitchen experience in restaurants or similar environments Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices for handling ingredients Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Join our team as a Pizza Cook where your culinary talents will shine, and help us create memorable dining experiences for our guests!
