And when we watch our satellites launch, we know each one of us made it happen.As a Propulsion Subsystem Manufacturing Tech B, you will assist in the assembly and testing of spacecraft propulsion subsystems. This role requires the ability to work second shift. This position's internal job code is Propulsion Subsystem Manufacturing Tech B. Our team is currently hiring for labor grade 15.Position Responsibilities:Weld, assemble, install, test, route/terminate/stake/wrap thermistors, heaters, non-flight thermocouples and heaters on spacecraft assemblies by interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings and specifications, and written assembly, integration, and test proceduresCheckout and inspect propulsion assemblies to drawings, engineering specifications, and written assembly, and test proceduresCapable of operating a wide range of tools. Included but not limited to, orbital tube welding machines, tack welding machines, drill press, grinders, power, and hand toolsInterfaces and/or works closely with Design and Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials, Procurement and Shipping personnel on procedural issues involving design, methods, tooling, cost, and other areas involved in the control of product qualityTravel maybe required to support operations identified by program being supportedSupport in areas defined by Millennium Space Systems Leadership as business needs requireOther duties as assigned, these duties will not conflict with other job classificationsThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Security Clearance Post-Start is required. This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required.
