SENIOR ACCOUNTANT In-Office Position Albany, NY Fusco Personnel is seeking a detail-oriented, accounting professional to join our client’s finance team as a Senior Accountant. This role supports financial operations related to externally funded programs, donations, and general accounting activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a collaborative approach to working across departments. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field with a strong focus on accounting At least three years of professional accounting experience Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel Experience with enterprise financial systems; exposure to Workday is a plus Familiarity with accounting for grants, restricted funds, or nonprofit funding sources preferred Knowledge of financial reporting associated with sponsored programs is advantageous Key Responsibilities Grant & Sponsored Program Accounting Gift & Contribution Accounting General Accounting Functions Record and reconcile transactions across affiliated entities Process periodic staff-related payments in designated systems Complete monthly account reconciliations and review allocation methodologies Assist with inventory counts and year-end financial procedures Prepare accrual entries and support financial close activities Participate in federal fund drawdowns and related reporting Provide documentation and support during internal or external audits Salary: $65-82k Fusco Personnel takes great pride in successfully matching talent and culture for our valued clients.
