This role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care, staff management, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulations. Must-Have Skills: Active Colorado RN LicenseStrong leadership and team management experienceExpertise in Med Surg clinical operationsExcellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsKnowledge of regulatory standards (Joint Commission, CMS, etc.) Experience Required: Minimum 3+ years of leadership experience in Med Surg or similar unitBachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) requiredMaster's Degree (MSN) preferred Key Responsibilities: Provide daily leadership, supervision, and operational oversight of the Med Surg Unit Develop staffing plans and ensure appropriate workforce allocation Mentor, coach, and evaluate nursing staff performance Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of nursing staff Monitor productivity, quality metrics, and patient outcomes Collaborate with leadership and interdisciplinary teams Participate in on-call leadership rotation Assist with budgeting and resource management Maintain readiness for audits and accreditation surveys Certifications Required: BLS (required prior to employment)ACLS (required prior to employment)PALS (within 6 months of hire)TNCC/TCAR (within 6 months of hire)NE-BC (within 3 years or when eligible) i️ Additional Information: Leadership role with direct staff supervisionOpportunity to support staff development and educationInvolvement in quality improvement and patient safety initiativesRelocation to Grand Junction, CO required CloudinfraIT Inc Job ID #296145.
