ABOUT THE JOB
The Chemical Handler is responsible for the makeup of chemical baths as well as chemical additions to the tanks. They also change out filters, anodes and order/receive in chemicals.
SHIFT: 1st Shift Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Makeup chemical baths as required by the Preventative Maintenance schedule and Labman program.
Check tanks for proper labelling requirements.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
Order chemistry based on a signal card system. Safely stores chemical deliveries in the appropriate areas.
Work with minimum supervision.

Work Conditions & Physical Demands
Climbing. Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized. This factor is important if the amount and kind of climbing required exceeds that required for ordinary locomotion.
Heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
The worker is subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.

SALARY RANGE: $21/hour-$30/hour.
This is the full salary range for the position. Most new hires can expect to start around $17.50/hour. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
