PPLIED offers its services free of charge, aiming to solve key challenges on both sides of the job market.Note : Candidate must be reside in USARole Description The Data Engineer at PPLIED is a full-time, remote role responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that power the platform’s matching and analytics capabilities. In this role, the Data Engineer will work closely with product, engineering, and analytics teams to collect, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources into reliable data warehouses and models. Typical day-to-day tasks include implementing Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes, optimizing data workflows, ensuring data quality and integrity, and supporting data-driven features and reporting. The Data Engineer will also help improve performance, reliability, and security of the data infrastructure, while contributing to documentation and best practices for data engineering across the organization.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong data engineering skills, including experience building and maintaining data pipelines and working with large-scale data systems.Candidates should possess skills in data modeling and data warehousing to design efficient, well-structured schemas that support analytics and product needs.Candidates should possess expertise in Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and related tools to automate and optimize data ingestion and transformation.Candidates should possess data analytics skills to interpret data, support reporting, and collaborate with stakeholders on data-driven decisions.Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (such as Python or Scala) is beneficial.Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure), as well as modern data frameworks and orchestration tools, is advantageous.Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently in a remote environment are important.A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.Note : We are hiring for our partners.
