Responsibilities include performing a range of procedures such as upper endoscopies (EGD), colonoscopies, and mid-level ERCPs, with a patient-centered approach tailored to individuals who may be non-compliant, acutely ill, or accompanied by family members. You'll collaborate closely with a dedicated team, supported by advanced clinical staff, in a setting that emphasizes relationship building and effective communication. Required Skills: Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology Proven expertise in endoscopic procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, and ERCP Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to manage complex patient cases with compassion and professionalism Knowledge of Medicare & Medicaid policies Capacity to work effectively within a team and adapt to workflow processes Nice to Have Skills: Experience with advanced endoscopic procedures beyond ERCP Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations Familiarity with EMR systems (specific platform TBD) Previous experience in a high-volume clinic or hospital setting Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree from an accredited institution Completion of a Gastroenterology fellowship Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a similar role Active state medical license and DEA certification Other Requirements: Commitment to a 12-month assignment commencing May 4, 2026 Willingness to participate in shared call schedule Credentialing process estimated to take approximately 3 months Ability to travel or relocate if required; travel reimbursements available where applicable This is a fantastic opportunity to join a caring team committed to excellence.
