Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated EHS / Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Louisiana. This role is crucial for ensuring our operations comply with all environmental, health, and safety regulations, and for overseeing the maintenance of our facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing EHS programs, conducting safety audits, and leading the maintenance team to achieve operational excellence. Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Responsibilities Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures to minimize accidents. Oversee regular inspections and maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety. Lead, train, and manage maintenance staff, scheduling repairs and routine upkeep. Handle emergency response incidents and provide a detailed report of events and outcomes. Manage waste disposal and recycling according to environmental guidelines. Conduct training sessions for staff on safety practices, crisis procedures, and the use of protective equipment. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years experience in an EHS role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. Strong understanding of Louisiana’s environmental and safety regulations. Excellent organizational and leadership abilities. Proficient in MS Office and EHS management systems.
