Overview:
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Correctional Officers. As a Correctional Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security within the correctional facility.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor inmates within the facility
- Enforce rules and regulations to ensure order and discipline
- Conduct regular inspections of cells, common areas, and inmate activities
- Respond to emergencies and incidents in a prompt and efficient manner
- Write detailed reports on incidents, conduct, and any rule violations
- Utilize conflict management skills to de-escalate situations effectively
- Operate CCTV systems to monitor inmate behavior
Qualifications:
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred
- Previous experience in law enforcement or related field is advantageous
- Strong report writing skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in conflict management techniques
- Familiarity with CCTV operations is a plus
- Ability to work in a militarized environment
- Must possess or be willing to obtain required correctional officer certification
