Job Description Job Title: Drywall Hanger (Commercial Construction – Military Base Project)Location: Fort Belvoir, VAJob Type: Full-TimeProject Type: New Office Build-Out (Military Base) Job SummaryWe are seeking experienced Drywall Hangers to join our team for a commercial office build-out project located on a U.S. military base. Candidates must be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a secure, regulated environment. Key ResponsibilitiesMeasure, cut, hang, and secure drywall panels to metal stud framing- Tape, mud, sand, and finish seams for paint-ready office interiors- Install drywall for walls, ceilings, soffits, and tenant buildout areas- Read blueprints, layouts, and follow project specifications- Complete punch list items, repairs, and final detail work as needed- Install corner bead, backing, blocking, and related materials- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and lifts- Maintain clean and organized work areas- Follow OSHA safety standards and all jobsite procedures- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to meet project schedules RequirementsMust be Green card holder or US citizen (required for access to military base)Proven experience as a drywall hanger in commercial constructionAbility to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawingsSkilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and drywall equipmentStrong attention to detail and workmanship qualityAbility to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs) and work at heightsReliable transportation to and from the job siteAbility to pass background checks, drug test screening, and comply with base security requirements Preferred QualificationsExperience working on government or military projectsFamiliarity with metal stud framing and commercial construction practicesOSHA certification (or willingness to obtain)Company DescriptionTalent Corps is an equal opportunity employer.
