FACILITIES MAINTENANCE & MATERIAL HANDLER

Description: Responsibilities: Maintain the appearance of facilities by performing tasks such as: watering, sweeping, mowing, tree trimming, pruning, painting and removing trash & debris Use lawn maintenance machinery such as: riding mower, weed eater, or chainsaw in daily work Use herbicides and insecticides that comply with all Federal & State regulations, as needed to control weeds and insects Maintain clean equipment & keep tools in operating condition according to manufacturer’s recommendations Assist in the loading/unloading and storing of materials using hand truck, pallet jack and/or forklift (will certify if not already certified) Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in warehouse Requirements: Qualifications: Must pass drug screen Read, write & speak both English & Spanish Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 lbs unassisted Ability to work independently and adapt to changing instruction or demands Ability to operate riding mower, hand tools & power tools Physical Demands: Frequent standing, kneeling, squatting, bending, pushing/pulling, walking, reaching, lifting Working outdoors for long periods of time, in extreme hot or cold temperatures; walking on slippery or uneven surfaces Benefits: Weekly Pay Health , Dental, Vision, Life & other insurances available (after 60 days of service) 401(k) Plan w/Matching available (after 1 year of service) Paid Time Off
