We manufacture hand-crafted tactical gear and accessories, and our merchandise is handmade to exact specification with precision and accuracy. **Job Overview** We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with manual sewing machines and fabricating sewn goods. This role is essential to our warehouse operations, where we manufacture high-quality, tactical products. If you have a passion for sewing and are interested in working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply. **Duties** - Operate manual, single-needle and double-needle lockstitch sewing machines to produce/repair a wide variety of products of fabric and nylon construction (mostly bags, pouches, belts, etc.) according to design specifications - Potentially operate automated/single-function machines (i.e. – automated/pattern tacking machines, rivet machines, etc.) - Examine products for quality and defects mid-construction, making any necessary adjustments or repairs - Complete daily production reports - Maintain a clean and organized production environment, adhering to safety regulations and best practices - Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines and ensure efficient workflow - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process - Monitor and maintain the condition of equipment, reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor **Experience/Qualities/Skills** - Prior experience as a manual Sewing Machine Operator is preferred - Experience working in a manufacturing environment and familiarity with production operations are beneficial - Physical stamina and dexterity to operate sewing machines and equipment for extended periods - Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment - Concern for quality standards, efficiency and productivity - Ability to sit at machines for long durations Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 10 hour shift 4x10 Day shift Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Sewing: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Burgaw, NC 28425 (Required) Work Location: In person
