Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU Stepdown Location: Rochester, NY Rate: $2,880 Weekly Shift: 36hrs - 3x12hrs - D/E/N Rotating Job description: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled ICU Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated healthcare team in Rochester, NY. As an ICU Stepdown RN, you will play a critical role in providing intermediate care to patients who are transitioning from intensive care but still require close monitoring and specialized nursing interventions. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU stepdown unit, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Monitor patients' vital signs, assess their clinical status, and recognize any changes or deterioration in their condition. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians and healthcare providers. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatments, and recovery expectations. Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in the electronic medical record system. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to maintain quality standards of care.
