Modeling & Simulation Engineer
You areConfident in your technical capabilities, willing to continue learning new technologies as mission needs are dynamic, and a desire to live in Colorado Springs, CO to work side-by-side with government counterparts on small agile teams to ensure our countries' space assets are safe & mission effective.You willProvide engineering and analytics support to the United States Space Force’s Orbital Test and Training Infrastructure (OTTI) division. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Engineering decomposition of test/training requirements and scenarios into model requirementsCoordinate with the intelligence community and Federally Funded Research and Development Center for the development of threat models/dataDraft and coordinate model standards with the customersAdvise US Special Programs Office and the Intelligence community on modeling and simulation standards and developmentManage model status and development and report on status and limitationsYou haveStrong background in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical engineering, math and/or physics.Strong knowledge of programming and modeling & simulation languages and environments (Simulink, AFSIM, Python, C++, etc)Engineering and technical knowledge of space systemsExperience with US Space Force (USSF) or Department of War (DoW) mission operations (desired)Experience with DoW requirements and system development (desired)Current TS/SCI Clearance RequiredThe ideal candidate will have 3-10 years of experience
