Senior IT Systems Engineer📍 Washington, DC (On-site) 📌 Full-Time | Proposal-Based / Contingent Upon AwardOverview Synertex is seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to support enterprise IT infrastructure, including hybrid cloud systems, identity management, and Microsoft 365 environments.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain IT systems and infrastructure Administer Microsoft 365 and Azure/Entra ID environments Support identity and access management solutions Manage system integrations across hybrid cloud environments Ensure system performance, security, and reliability Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues Support modernization and system optimization initiatives Required Qualifications6+ years of IT systems engineering experience Strong experience with: Microsoft 365 administration Entra ID (Azure AD) Hybrid cloud environments Experience supporting federal IT systems One of the following certifications: Microsoft MCSE / Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) / Azure Solutions Architect / VMware VCP (active) Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance Desired QualificationsCisco networking or firewall experience Virtualization experience (VMware, etc.) Experience with cloud migration or modernization efforts Preferred certifications: Security+; CCNA; RHCE; ITIL v4
