Job Description Job Title: Commercial Real Estate Attorney (5+ Years Experience)Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)Job Type: Full-TimeAbout the Role:We are seeking a skilled and business-minded Commercial Real Estate Attorney with at least 5 years of transactional experience to join our Chicago-based team. This role will focus on complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development projects. Candidates with commercial lending experience will be strongly preferred.This is a hybrid role, offering a flexible schedule with a combination of in-office and remote work. You'll work closely with a collaborative group of attorneys and clients in a fast-paced, supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, easements, and joint venture agreementsProvide legal guidance on property acquisitions, dispositions, and development projectsSupport due diligence efforts including title and survey reviewRepresent borrowers and/or lenders in real estate finance transactionsCollaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, and external counsel to drive transactions forwardMaintain a high level of responsiveness and client serviceQualifications:J.D. from an accredited law school; active license to practice in Illinois5+ years of experience handling commercial real estate transactionsDemonstrated experience with lending or real estate finance is a significant plusStrong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple projects with competing deadlinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCompensation & Benefits:Salary starting at $140,000, commensurate with experienceCompetitive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), and PTOHybrid work environment with flexibilityOpportunities for advancement and professional developmentSalary: Starting at $140,000 (commensurate with experience)
