Job DescriptionInspect, clean wafers during the QC processAttach components/parts onto SA wafersTest wafers follow the Work InstructionsAssist Engineering team to build prototype productsSupport wafer calibration process for sensor/semiconductor productsInspect wafers (visual inspection; microscope experience is a plus, not required)Set up wafers/products into fixtures and calibration equipmentLoad/run equipment, collect calibration dataPerform basic data analysis and document/report resultsUse computer tools daily (Excel, email)Inspect small components/parts under microscopeShift: Work Schedule Monday-Friday Morning shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMQualificationsAssociate Degree in electronics or related field preferredHigh school diploma acceptable with 3-5+ years of relevant manufacturing/electronics experienceCan work and handle small handheld tool like DVMComputer knowledge (use MS office like Excel, MS Word)Can soldering small components onto PCBCan handle clean room chemical (IPA, DI water, acetone)Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experienceEmail / Windows environmentAbility to clearly communicate in EnglishComfortable working in a cleanroom environmentManufacturing experience with electronics preferredSemiconductor manufacturing experienceWafer inspection or calibration backgroundPCB assembly experienceLight soldering experience (simple wire soldering only)Use of inspection tools (microscope, basic electronic tools like volt meters)Most technical aspects are trainable; prior direct calibration experience is not mandatory.Open to: Entry-level: 2+ years manufacturing & Mid/Senior: 15-20+ years experience (As long as experience is in electronics or semiconductor manufacturing)California Fair Chance ActSynectics Inc. will consider qualified applicants with a criminal history pursuant to the California Fair Chance Act.
