Journeyman II - (Licensed Electrician)
Audubon is currently seeking a Journeyman II - (Licensed-Electrician) to join our team in our Offsite Office. The Journeyman II install, maintain, and repair electrical systems within the scope for the job for the industrial settings.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify all tools required for tasks.
Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks.
Assist in the cutting, bending and running of the conduit as specified on blueprints.
Assist in the installation, modification, and fabrication of cable tray as necessary according to specifications.
Assist in pulling the cable through specified pathways.
Assist in the assembly and installation of electrical equipment.
Assist in terminating wires and cables to electrical equipment such as but not limited to breakers, control panels, and distribution systems.
Assist in the testing of electrical components for continuity and proper voltage readings according to specifications.
Assist in the inspection of electrical equipment and components to identify hazards and to ensure the equipment is in good operational condition.
Assist in the setup and maintenance of temporary power systems.
Assist in the installation of and maintenance of the grounding systems for all equipment and structures.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Related trade school education is preferred.
Five years' experience in the construction industry.
Five years' experience as a journeyman electrician.
Must be able to obtain site and Safety training certifications required for the project.
Construction safety practices.
In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and HSE guidelines.
Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to communicate and report effectively.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions.
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently when required.
Ability to motivate, lead, teach and train on proper work and safety procedures.
Ability to think analytically, apply sound judgment, and solve problems.
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing. Individuals must have a valid driver's license and driving record that meets Company requirements.
