In total, we serve over 1,000 customers around the worldPosition OverviewLocation: Vancouver, WA (Onsite)Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pmThe Mechanical Assembly Technician will support the production team by primarily working in mechanical assembly or as a part of our maintenance, repair and overhaul department. This role will be assembling, tearing down, and rebuilding mechanical aerospace components per drawing and documentation requirements. This is a physical role requiring gross and fine motor skill aptitude. You will use hand tools to assemble and measure our products including cargo hooks and their components. You will be required to follow written plans and blueprints.Qualified applicants are required to pass a pre-employment drug screen as an MRO tech, approximately 6 months after being hired, you may be subject to FAA drug testing regulations if you join our repair roster, which includes random drug screen for federally banned substances including marijuana.What You’ll DoAssemble or repair mechanical aerospace components per drawing & documentation requirementsConduct testing & troubleshooting of finished goodsPotential to perform bead-blasting or other secondary processes of CNC components as NeededDisassemble, clean, and inspect components for repair.Assist in the shipping department by shipping our products internationally while following regulatory requirementsSupport the QC team by inspecting products and their parts, using basic hand toolsOperating the computerized parts pulling machineWho You AreProficiency working with, and following, build instructions, plans, and drawingsHigh attention to detailBasic Mechanical SkillsMinimum 1 year of experience performing similar work in assembly, WC, Shipping/receiving or quality is required.What’s In It For YouBenefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disabilityPaid time off and holidays 401(k) plan with employer contribution matching
