Nurse Practitioner ADT OB/GYN FertilityOB/GYN - FertilityFull Time88058BRJob SummaryUnder the supervision of the UCSF Department of OB/GYN, REI guided by the policies and procedures, rules and regulations, and bylaws of the UCSF Medical Center, some Nursing Policies, and, Medical Staff Policies, and any unique ambulatory patient services this Nurse Practitioner (NP) position is assigned to in the Center for Reproductive Health (CRH). This AHP position may perform delegated functions as appropriate to their "scope of practice". In general, the "scope of practice" includes the management of chronic stable medical conditions, routine care, acute or critical care, and medical and surgical procedures per approved standardized procedures as identified by the list available on the Medical Staff Office website. The CIDP approved standardized procedures are unique to each person and are unlikely to include ALL SPs on the list. This position may provide patient care in approved age groups and UCSF Health licensed settings. The AHP has responsibility for the quality of standards of care for a specified patient population and evidences self-direction and accountability in the development of this role within the all UCSF medical center locations. UCSF Health requires all Advanced Health Practitioners (AHP) to be credentialed through its Medical Staff Services Office (MSSO) in order to practice and function in their clinical role. This applies to both adult and pediatric AHPs in the inpatient and outpatient clinical settings at all UCSF Health sites (Parnassus, Mt. Zion, Satellite Clinics, et al). Credentialing and approval of the Standardized Procedures takes between 30-60 days and must be completed prior to the first working day.The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.The salary range for this position is $105.50 - $136.83 (Hourly Rate).To learn more about the benefits of working at UCSF, including total compensation, please visit: Department DescriptionNoneRequired QualificationsGraduation from a California Board of Registered Nursing recognized Nurse Practitioner Program with a master's or doctoral degree aligned with the patient population and clinical role.One (1 year of experience working as a Certified Nurse Practitioner in Women's HealthKnowledge of general obstetrical care and female reproductive anatomy and physiologyThis position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.Preferred QualificationsOne (1) year of experience working as a Certified Nurse Practitioner in Women's Health Knowledge of general obstetrical care and female reproductive anatomy and physiologyTwo (2) or more years RN/NP clinical experience in Reproductive Medicine/Endocrinology, Assisted Reproductive Technology (A.R.T.)Obstetrics/Gynecology, Women's Health ServicesTwo (2) to three (3) years' experience with diagnostic ultrasoundsLicense/Certification1. California Registered Nurse (RN) License without restriction2. California Nurse Practitioner (NP) License without restriction3. California Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number4. NP national board certification from an accepted certifying agency aligned with the patient population and clinical roleWomen's Health (WHNP-BC) .
