DESCRIPTION
Amazon is seeking a Senior Program Manager to drive strategic initiatives and complex, cross-functional programs that directly impact our customers and business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results in ambiguous environments, influencing without authority, and driving operational excellence at scale.
As a Senior Program Manager:
You will own end-to-end program delivery, working with senior leaders across multiple organizations to define strategy, set goals, and execute against ambitious timelines.
You will be responsible for identifying and solving complex problems, driving process improvements, and ensuring programs deliver measurable business impact.
Key job responsibilities
Own and drive complex, cross-functional programs from conception through delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs
Partner with senior leadership across multiple organizations to define program strategy, goals, and success metrics
Develop and maintain detailed program plans, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies
Identify and resolve blockers, escalating appropriately to ensure program momentum
Drive operational excellence through process improvement, automation, and standardization
Communicate program status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional partners, influencing without direct authority
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success and business impact
Mentor and develop junior program managers, raising the bar for program management excellence
Drive mechanisms that scale, ensuring programs can grow efficiently as the business expands

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of driving process improvements experience
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
