Human Resources Payroll Coordinator
People Architects is hiring a Temporary HR & Payroll Coordinator to support one of our clients during a busy period of increased HR and payroll activity. This is a hands-on role for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting payroll, timecards, onboarding, leave administration, and HR operations in ADP Workforce Now. The right person will be able to step in, stay calm in a busy environment, and help keep important HR processes accurate, timely, and moving forward. There is potential to go full time.What You’ll DoSupport biweekly payroll processing in ADP Workforce NowReview and resolve timecard issues for hourly, salaried, seasonal, union, and non-union employeesHelp ensure accurate payroll coding for leaves, benefit deductions, employee changes, and status updatesSupport leave administration, including FMLA, ADA, short-term disability, workers’ compensation, parental leave, and unpaid leaveTrack leave documentation and follow up on required paperworkProcess new hires, onboarding workflows, offer letters, background checks, badge requests, IT requests, and orientation detailsSupport onboarding for incoming hiresProcess terminations and offboarding updates in ADPMaintain accurate employee records and HR system dataProvide general HR administrative support as neededWhat We’re Looking For2+ years of experience in HR operations, payroll, or HR administrationHands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now, especially payroll and onboardingExperience reviewing timecards and supporting payroll accuracyWorking knowledge of leave administration and employee documentationStrong attention to detail and follow-throughAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and discretion with confidential informationExperience with union and non-union employee populations, or within nonprofit, museum, education, or mission-driven organizations, is a plus.Why This RoleThis is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the operational side of HR.
