Vocational Rehabilitation ServicesPrivate HouseholdsOther Residential Care FacilitiesOther Personal ServicesArchitectural and Structural Metals ManufacturingMachinist II Job Category: Facilities & Maintenance Full-Time On-site Quakertown, PA 18951, USA Description What we are looking for: The Machinist performs many of the responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician in addition to operating a variety of machining equipment. 1st shift: What you will do: Machinist Operates a variety of machining equipment, including but not limited to: Mills, Lathes, Saws, Measurement Devices, Grinders, and hand tools. Produces parts as per specifications, maintains tolerances and finishes appropriately. Works with machining requestors and engineers to ensure understanding and expectations. Plans stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available. Tests and diagnoses malfunctioning machinery and collaborates with other maintenance technicians to develop and install proper repairs. General Maintenance Replaces air conditioner filters, damaged ceiling tiles, floor tiles and wall coverings. Replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment. Purchases appropriate parts to repair, replace or otherwise make functional any of the above-mentioned areas. Works on cross functional teams comprised of engineering and manufacturing resources on projects. Assists with training and providing guidance to other technicians as needed. Performs, assists, and guides repairs, installations and troubleshooting of all Company equipment with contractors and other Company personnel. Performs preventative maintenance activities in accordance with established schedules. Performs all duties within Quality guidelines, ISO 13485, and other client requirements. Performs routine building maintenance. Documents work performed and submitted completed work orders in a timely manner. Follows all applicable Company work instructions, S.O.P.'s, and guidelines. Who you are: High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 5-7 years related experience. Self-starter with ability to work in a high paced environment Good mechanical skills are a must. Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to get along well with others and work in a team environment. Excellent dependability and reliability. Ability to independently prioritize and execute projects and responsibilities Organized and detail oriented. Ability to be creative with projects that are non-routine in nature. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
