The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and directing the activities of the Corporate and External Affairs Division, with a focus on developing business strategies for self-sustaining, revenue-generating auxiliary enterprises. This role requires an entrepreneurially minded leader with a strong background in business development, corporate relations, government affairs, and marketing, and a deep commitment to the mission of the institution. The SVP will also be tasked with overseeing financial and personnel functions, ensuring compliance with division-wide policies, and building external partnerships that advance the company's mission, reputation, and financial sustainability.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree strongly preferred, and a minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or executive leadership role. Extensive fundraising experience is essential, as is a proven track record in securing major gifts and managing capital campaigns. The role also involves leading a comprehensive fundraising strategy, including major gifts, annual giving, and grant cultivation. The ideal candidate will have a background in auxiliary services management, knowledge of economic development strategies, and experience in government or legislative affairs.
