Counselor

In conjunction with and directly related to the philosophy, goals, and objectives of Tanner Health System, the Employee Assistance Program counselor is a licensed mental health provider and preferably a certified employee assistance professional whose specialized training and experience makes her/him responsible for provision of clinical services.EducationMaster's DegreeExperienceFour years of related experience. Requires broad knowledge of complex systems and procedures.Licenses & CertificationsProfessional CounselorQualificationsAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Ability to function effectively and calmly in crisis situations.Certification or eligibility for certification as an Employee Assistance Professional by the Employee Assistance Certification Commission (EACC) preferred.Holds a professional state licensure in counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work, or clinical psychology.Master's degree in clinical mental health area; i.e., psychology, social work, counseling.Membership in appropriate state of national professional organization.Membership in either EAPA or EASNA preferred.Minimum of 4 years experience in provision of mental health clinical services
