If you enjoy meeting new people, genuinely care about customer service, and have a commitmentto safety and like variety at work, come help us save the world “One Lug at a Time”!ResponsibilitiesComplete all jobs according to company standards, practices, and mission statementSafely load, transport, and unload customer items in accordance with state and local lawsAssist in training new hires in subordinate rolesAttend all mandatory training, meeting & eventsHelp maintain trucks and equipment with daily inspections and reporting of any observed issuesMaintain and reinforce a safety culture at The JunkluggersEmbrace, implement, and promote continuous improvement ideasProvide operational support when needed, such as dispatchingServe as the point person in the field for both management and your fellow LuggersSupport recruiting of new team members and promote company valuesQualificationsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must – this is a customer-facing roleAbility to learn and use technology in the field to execute job requirements, quickly and efficientlyLearn and master skills of both Navigator and Driver positionsAbility to effectively utilize and manage resource locations in the current territory (donation, recycling, and disposal centers) and use them efficientlyAttention to detail in understanding truck operation, maintenance, and careExhibit a strong safety attitude and be assertive with others when enforcing safety practices and other company policiesConfident and courageous in reporting infractions, accidents, or other issues to managementAbility to influence and lead team(s) in the field and show potential for advancementAbility to work full-time, including some SaturdaysObtain and maintain a valid PA C-class driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle recordSupply own mobile phone (company will provide tablets for on-the-job duties)Ability to lift 75 lbsThis is a remote position.Compensation: $12.00 - $21.00 per hour
