Job SummaryThe Testing Services Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and administering a variety of standardized exams, ensuring a secure, efficient, and policy-compliant testing environment. This role supports both internal and external testers, collaborates with institutional and community partners, and provides supervision to part-time staff.Essential Duties & Responsibilities & Knowledge Skills & Abilities Extensive knowledge of personal computing, Microsoft Office software, email (Outlook), Teams, and internet use is required. Coordinate various aspects of the Testing Center, including lab utilization and scheduling of exams. Provides direct supervision and ongoing training for 1-2 part-time staff. Oversees the administration of exams given through the GED/Prov testing center and contributes assistance in administering exams daily. Maintains security and inventory of tests, ensuring secure storage of exams and related materials. Completes walkthroughs and monitors surveillance to prevent student academic misconduct and report misconduct/testing discrepancies accordingly. Serve as initial point of contact for GED and Prov daily operations and technical support issues. Demonstrate supervisory skills to direct report staff. Maintain record of revenue for GED and Prov. Train employees on technical and job-related duties to ensure consistency throughout testing center. Effective written and verbal communication skills are required. Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Must be detail oriented with the ability to work well in a high demand environment, work well under pressure, and multi-task. Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills. Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion with regard to information processed, stored, and accessed by systems is required. High ethical values a must.
