ENGINEERING MODELER IN CONSTRUCTION
Duties: Prepare 3D model of engineering structures using SDS/2
solids modeling software, and prepare 2D illustrations for use with
field erection and shop fabrication of the structure.
Structures may include buildings, concrete buildings, DOT bridges,
oil refineries, airport hangers, piers and docks, and waste water
treatment plants. Steel assemblies may include building frames,
catwalks, gangways, stairs, rails, canopies, lattices, marine fenders,
and others.
Engineering degree or equivalent required. Experience with a 3D
software required. Job-site and/or shop experience is helpful.
