The role requires maintaining a professional, clean, and organized work environment. This is a long-term temporary assignment with the potential to become a temp-to-hire position, depending on the client’s needs. Inventory Management: Unload, receive, and put away incoming products, goods, tools, and equipment. Sort, label, move, and store items in predetermined sequences such as size, style, or product codes. Issue products, goods, tools, and equipment to site employees, maintaining accurate records of issued and returned items. Assist with cycle counting and inventory level maintenance, preparing reports as needed. Customer Service & Support: Deliver tools or equipment to associate work locations. Investigate and locate lost or misplaced equipment or safety supplies. Provide strong customer service skills in all interactions with team members and clients. Minimum Qualifications Experience & Education: 3+ months of relevant experience and/or training in a warehouse environment. High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. Skills: Experience in loading, unloading, picking, packing, or moving goods in a warehouse environment. Basic computer knowledge and proficiency, including MS Office products, Vista, Control, SX.e, Prophet 21. Strong communication and customer service skills. Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure). Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted. Regularly required to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance. Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment & Physical Demands The work environment may be hot and dusty; although there is AC, it is an older unit that occasionally stalls. Must wear close-toe shoes; work-appropriate shorts and sleeveless tops are acceptable (straps must be 4 fingers wide, no holes or vulgar language on clothing). May be required to wear protective equipment (shoes, gloves, protective eyewear). Overtime may be required, and shifts may vary with little to no advanced notice Additional Information Forklift Experience:** Not required, but must be willing to learn.
