They offer a stable environment, modern equipment, and a leadership team that truly prioritizes safety and employee well-being.Job DescriptionDrive the site's overall EH&S strategy in alignment with company safety standards and leadership direction.Lead the Safety Committee, including agendas, facilitation, action logs, and follow-through.Perform routine safety walks and floor audits, identifying hazards and ensuring corrective actions are completed.Build and maintain policies, SOPs, training plans, and hands-on coaching for supervisors and operators.Own the full EH&S compliance training calendar and maintain fully audit-ready documentation.Conduct or coordinate industrial hygiene and ergonomic assessments such as noise, air quality, eyewash checks, and workstation safety.Manage external vendors for sampling, monitoring, and specialized training.Lead incident and near-miss management - from first response to root cause to action closure.Partner with HR on return-to-work and safe job placement when needed.Ensure compliance in environmental areas such as waste handling, spill prevention, inspections, and permits.Maintain emergency preparedness across drills, equipment checks, evacuation planning, and readiness programs.Manage EH&S budget priorities and recommend improvements with strong ROI.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
