HiFyve is hiring a 2nd Shift Swiss CNC Machinist in the machining industry!Shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:00 AMPay: Up to $38/hourLocation: Twin Cities Metro Area, MN / Near St. Paul, MNJob Duties and ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate Swiss CNC machines to maintain stable production outputSupport the launch and success of a new second shift in a small Swiss machining shopMonitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiencyAssist a less experienced operator working on the same shiftRead and interpret blueprints and part drawingsPerform routine quality checks using precision measuring toolsTroubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustmentsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentComplete production documentation and inspection recordsSupport team collaboration and help ensure second shift runs smoothlyEducation RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredTechnical training or machining certification preferredKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong experience operating Swiss CNC machinesSetup experience preferredAbility to read blueprints and perform shop mathUnderstanding of G-code and CNC machining fundamentalsExperience with precision measuring equipmentAbility to troubleshoot machining issues and maintain production flowStrong attention to detail and quality standards
