TEK ProductionsEvent SpecialistWho We AreTEK Productions is a full-service corporate event company creating high quality immersive experiences in the live-show, business meeting, and event space.What You’ll DoThe Event Specialist will play a key role in planning and executing corporate live meetings and events from concept through completion. You’ll collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure every detail is aligned, and every experience exceeds expectations.Responsibilities & DutiesSupport client needs during the planning and execution of programsConduct client calls, participate in site visits, and attend pre- and post-convention meetingsCreate and revise room layouts as neededProposal and presentation preparation based on program specificationsDocument Production; budgets, schedules, venue letters, and other show related documents, with continued management of files.Source, contract and manage vendors (e.g., florists, entertainment providers, game providers, linens and décor companies)Provide details and documentation to venue team, vendors, and contracted staffPartner with facilities/venue teams, direct staff, contractors and vendors on show site to ensure seamless executionPartner and collaborate across TEK’s Lines of ServiceAssist with tracking and reconciling show budgets and post-show analysisAll other duties assigned by managementTravel is requiredQualifications & Skills3–5 years of experience working with a Destination Management Company (DMC) is required.Willingness and ability to travel frequentlyAvailability for flexible schedule, including overtime, evenings and weekendsProficiency in Microsoft Office computer programs; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Excellent organizational and communication skillsProven client relationship skillsAbility to interface with personnel at all levelsAbility to work independently with little direction and meet deadlinesAdaptable and quick to learn new tools and systemsHigh level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential informationExperience in the corporate live show, business meetings and event space is a plus
